The best soups are made with a base of homemade stock and fresh ingredients. You can reduce your time in the kitchen by usuing canned or frozen broths or bouillion bases. Even so,plan on taking your time with a good soup or stew.

Fresh ingredients are best ,but some canned or frozen vegetables will work well, such as peas,green beans and corn.

When planning an event it is so easy to get in to a rut and do the same things you have either seen in the past or something that is “traditional”. Sometimes “non-traditional” is the way to go!
With this said, I have to give a kudos to Experian Southwind for thinking “outside the box” when planning their Christmas Party this year. The theme of their event was “Welcome to Oz”. Yes, Folks it was a Wizard of Oz themed Party. I must say it was so much fun to see their vision come together and really knock it out of the park!

If you start feeling stress; take a break and listen to some music. Classical music works the best because it is relaxing and stimulates the brain; however if you are not into classical music then ocean and nature sounds work pretty well also.
